Frozen Fans could not contain their excitement after Disney (and Pixar) confirmed that they are going to do the sequel of the movie last March. The release date is marked already on 2018 but the storyline is yet disclosed by the CCO of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, John Lasseter. Thus the thrilled fans are speculating what the story would be of Frozen 2.

The original cast, Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel are reported to reprise their roles as Princess Anna and Queen Elsa respectively for Frozen 2, the outline of the story is still concealed from the public. According to John Lasseter, Disney-Pixar is aiming for excellence so they are not rushing the storyline of the animated film. Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck on the other hand have already something in mind for the script.

With that secrecy from the mother studio of the Frozen movie, many fans are thinking that the story of Frozen 2 would revolve around the love story of Queen Elsa. Others think that a new villain will emerge challenging the power of Elsa while Princess Anna will discover that she too has powers. The unsolicited opinions of the netizens keeps coming by the day through comment buttons of any online press releases.

The speculation went beyond the imagination of Frozen 2  followers and reached as far as crossing over the Dreamworks' property Jack Frost. The idea might be unlikely because the characters are coming from different animation companies that are known to be rivals in making animated films; however it is not a bad proposal should the two companies could come to an agreement. If that would make the movie hit the box office once again then perhaps there is nothing wrong if they join forces. Besides, didn't we hear the CCO of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios say they are aiming for excellence?

Since no one can squeeze out what's going on inside the production team of Frozen 2, the fans are left hanging as far as storyline is concerned. Nonetheless, that will keep the excitement going until the plot is duly revealed or an insider will spill the beans.
