Microsoft is busy preparing for the release of its new hybrid technology which offers both the qualifications of being a tablet and a laptop which they nicknamed their laplet. The next version of the laplet or Microsoft Surface Pro 4 may come sooner than expected for the fans, although no official confirmation has been issued by the company. However, many speculations have risen regarding the new Surface Pro 4 that it will be powered by a powerful Intel chip and Windows 10. The Microsoft Laplet is also speculated to be launched together and compete with the iPad Air 3.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is guaranteed to be a powerful device and is said to be the unifying ticket that will bring together its other technology which include but not limited to PC, Windows Phone, and Xbox One. The Surface Pro 4 will be powered by an Intel Broadwell chipset. The device will be released in two 2K resolution variants - 12 inch and 14 inch models. It will be sporting a 16 GB of memory and 1 Terabyte internal storage. The device will host a stylus pen just like its predecessor and would belong to the category of fan-less devices.

According to a report, Microsoft would be releasing the Surface Pro 4 in time with the unveiling of the Windows 10. However, if that were not to happen in time, the Surface Pro 4 will be released at the 3rd quarter of the year (August or September) which will definitely coincide with the release of Apple's iPad Air 3 which will run with the latest A9X processor.

Yet even as Microsoft had not issued any confirmation regarding the Surface Pro 4, several reports have concluded that the Laplet will be given a $1200 - $2000 price range.  And on a side note, the Surface Pro 3 had its price rolled back, thus give the signs that Microsoft is clearing the market for the release of the Surface pro 4.
