After The Avengers: Age of Ultron came out on theaters, director Joss Whedon decided to walk away from Twitter. Yes, he deleted his Twitter account and announced it to the world.

Many speculated that Joss Whedon's online bashers were the reason he quit Twitter. It was because of Scarlett Johansson's role as Black Widow in the Age of Ultron that aroused feminist attacks on Whedon. But this was denied by the director. He said that ever since he entered the Twitter world, he was already being bashed by feminists.

"Believe me, I have been attacked by militant feminists since I got on Twitter. That's something I'm used to. Every breed of feminism is attacking every other breed, and every subsection of liberalism is always busy attacking another subsection of liberalism, because god forbid they should all band together and actually fight for the cause," Whedon said.

Joss Whedon explained that nobody but himself was the main reason he quit Twitter, saying it was distracting him already. "The real issue is me. Twitter is an addictive little thing, and if it's there, I gotta check it."

It seems like celebrity quitting social medias is eminent nowadays. Talk about quitting, Will and Jada Smith's son Jaden Smith deleted his Facebook and Twitter account, but he had done it silently. He is now using Instagram and made it private.

Jaden stirred the social media for posting a photo of him in a dress. He really does not care about what others think, but in this era, everything is being talked about. And celebrities are not excluded in the scene of gossips.

Many celebrities have gone tweeting and gone quitting the back again to tweeting. Some stars like Zayn Malik (ex-member of One Direction), Chrissy Teigen, Zelda Williams (daughter of the late Robin Williams) quit Twitter. Their reasons for quitting? They said they were abused and were sent by fans nothing but negativity. But they have just returned to Twitter again.
