Black Mass is the latest film from Johnny Depp, will see the movie star play Whitey Bulger, one of the most infamous killers in American history. Bulger was a vicious criminal with at least 19 murders to his name, who eventually turned informant and helped the FBI crack down on the Mafia for over 30 years.

The first trailer for Black Mass was just released, and it shows Depp looking completely unrecognizable- bald, wrinkly, wearing heavy sunglasses and a scowl and looking almost nothing like Johnny Depp. While that has won the actor some acclaim already, it's also sent Black Mass into scandalous territory from those who were hurt or victimized by the real Whitey Bulger.

Steven Davis, whose sister was dating one of Whitey Bulger's henchmen and was ultimately killed by Bulger himself, says the film is disgusting and that it profits off the legacy of a man who murdered one of his loved ones.

Davis spoke to the Globe, revealing his issues with the film in a series of accusations.

"A lot of the families are very, very upset about this," Davis explained.

"I don't like it one bit. . . . Everybody seems to be profiting off it."

"It's sad for the movie industry, it's sad for the actors."

"It's too much hurt still going on."

"It's still too new to the heart for people."

"He was a piece of (expletive) anyway."

"The only reason he had the power to do what he did was because the FBI was protecting him."

"The movie industry and the actors, they're the ones making the money."

"It's another (expletive) slap in the face, that's what we're getting paid. Another slap in the face."

Black Mass stars Depp as Bulger, along with Dakota Johnson as his girlfriend Lindsey Cyr, Benedict Cumberbatch as his brother Billy Bulger, David Harbour as FBI agent John Morris, Joel Edgerton as FBI agent John Connolly and Corey Stoll as a US Attorney.

Black Mass will premiere in theaters on September 18, 2015.
