Although a lot of gamers were certainly happy with the release of "Bloodborne," there had been some gamers who had been frustrated with From Software for releasing another fantastic game, Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin, just barely a month after "Bloodborne." The release dates of these two masochistic games just a few weeks apart were totally ridiculous.

Gaming enthusiasts who reviewed the two games had this to say, "Bloodborne" already killed its sister "Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin," which would just be released on April 07th. The review read that "Bloodborne" was "[a] gothic gore-fest [that was] billed as being somewhat easier than the 'Souls' games, and you know, it bloody well is. It's still heartbreakingly hard in places, and losing right when you think you've got its first Big Bad, the shrill-shrieking, bridge-pounding Cleric Beast," based on a report from Vice. In comparison to "Bloodborne," the review also mentioned that the guides for the "Souls" series were at most times unable to help gamers defeat the dungeons; at worst, the guides would only help the gamers out of their misery.

Nonetheless, the review still gave a hats off to From Software for creating such horror filled games that made gamers cringe and had their hearts bleed and their eyes water with such futility as to defeat the mighty bosses with megaton powers, which could only be subdued with sheer tactical precision or mind blowing strategy. The games created by From Software were just heartbreakingly delicious, gamers would keep on coming back for more even if they died many times over.

Meanwhile, gaming enthusiasts had noticed some drawbacks in "Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin." One review noted that "The only real drawback, and one that you may have already heard about, are the issues related to durability. This is a carryover bug from the PC version, apparently caused by the higher framerate, and noticeable as soon as you exit Marjula and start to encounter enemies in greater numbers," based on an article from Gaming Age.

In any case, From Software would still be hearing the clink of glasses from their hardcore fans as they toast to the devilishly delightful titles such as "Bloodborne" and "Souls."
