Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson of the world-famous boy band One Direction have been rumored to have shared a romantic relationship in the past. Additionally, the two have also shared a living space together. However, recent reports have revealed that Harry Styles had left Tomlinson to get a place of his own. One Direction enthusiasts are wondering if there is still, or if there ever was, something special between the two.

Harry Styles, 21, and Louis Tomlinson, 23, have long been rumored to have been sharing something a little bit more special than just plain friendship. It was confirmed in 2011 that the two boys of the popular boy band were definitely sharing a space together. Tomlinson himself told a source, "'Me and Harry are sharing a flat and the other boys have their own."

In 2011 however, it was confirmed that Harry Styles actually decided to acquire his own bachelor pad. A source said, "He's made loads of money and has been encouraged to invest in it - rather than splash out on things." The flat that Harry bought in East London was reportedly priced £575,000.

On the other hand, it has been reported that the "gay affair" rumors that have been circulating for some time now had been affecting Tomlinson's relationship with long-time girlfriend Eleanor Calder.

Louis confessed that it has become an inconvenience for both him and Styles: "Me and Harry are best friends, people look into our every move," and that "It is actually affecting the way me and Harry are in public." He added that, "We want to joke around but there seems to be a different rumour every time we do anything."

Regarding issues concerning sexuality, Harry Styles had already spoken: "Bisexual? Me? I don't think so," Styles stated. "I'm pretty sure I'm not." He even explained his side and what he thought about the "gay" rumors that had been thrown at him for the past years: "The only time it gets really annoying is that if you get into a relationship and you get into a place where you really like someone and then things are being written in the papers that affect them and how they see you. Then it can get annoying."

Despite reports that these kinds of rumors were tearing One Direction apart, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles remain close friends and are currently still doing a world tour with the group.
