Iconic singer Madonna seems let herself embroiled in controversy as she talked about her new album and drugs. The 'Material Girl' and 'Papa Don't Preach' singer stirs questions when she admitted in a show that she will permit her kids to take drugs  as long as it's in moderation.

The pop diva is the guest of 'The Jonathan Ross Show' for its March 14 episode. While airing of this episode is almost two weeks to go, Madonna's comments on songs from 'Rebel Heart'  and stage fall at Brit Awards  make this visit a little bit controversial. At one point, TV host Ross prompted to ask about drugs, when he dissected Madge's 'Devil Pray' lyrics.

"I am not a big fan of drugs. They just don't suit me," the 56-year old mom of four admitted. "The handful of times I have tried drugs, many many many many years ago, I just didn't enjoy it. I wanted it out of me. I started guzzling bottles of water thinking that was going to end it."

Madonna has teenagers namely Lourdes Leon, 18, and Rocco Ritchie, 14. Ross asked then the 'Take a Bow' singer how she explained this matter particularly to her daughter, who's currently studying at University of Michigan.

"I just ask my daughter to make wise decisions and to do things in moderation and to try not to mix her alcohol," Madonna's comment. "I am not going to say 'no, don't do it' because that is just absurd. And it is not fair. Yeah, I did it."

Meantime, another track from 'Rebel Heart' that Ross mentioned was 'Live for Love,' which Madonna performed with grand at Brit Awards 2015.  During her stage performance at O2Arena, the actress- singer fell on the stage due to her heavy cape.

"So here I am marching in like a queen and I got to the top of the stairs and I pulled my silky string and it would not come undone and my two lovely Japanese dancers basically strangled me off the stage. I had a choice, I could either be strangled or fall with the cape and I fell," Sean Penn's ex partner narrated about the incident.

According to Madonna, she smacked the back of her head so she was checked until 3am if she's okay. Despite of that, some speculated that it was part of her performance as her song chanted about fall and stumble. She vehemently denied that it's a stunt and described her performance as a 'horrible nightmare.'

"I'm never writing lyrics like that again! The universe was trying to teach me a lesson I guess," Madonna commented.

Speaking of wardrobe malfunction, Madonna reasoned it out to daughter Leon when the latter asked her viral photo where she exposed her butt to photographers prior to performance at Grammys. "She did take a picture of my butt sticking out and sent it back to me and said, 'Mom, really?' and I said it was a wardrobe malfunction. I swear. She left it at that."
