Motorola Droid Mini is one of the anticipated smartphones to come from the company before the year ends, and for good reason, but with not enough information about it yet, many are turning to Droid Turbo, a newly unveiled smartphone from Motorola.

According to KpopStarz, Motorola Android Mini is a compact Android device that will have the latest from Qualcomm. Equipped with the Snapdragon 805, it will also have 3GB of RAM and will come preloaded with Android 4.4.4.

Motorola's Droid Mini page highlights that the smartphone "offers the same performance and features as the bigger Droid devices just without the size." Droid Mini also impresses with its high-grade DuPont Kevlar frame. It is expected to be strong thanks to Corning Gorilla Glass used on its screen. The handset also offers 50GB of storage space from Google Drive for two years.

The Motorola Android Mini comes from the Droid line that has been introduced back in August 2013, shares the article. However, Motorola and Verizon still have not unveiled the new smartphone. And while it remains in limbo, a new handset from Motorola is taking the state.

Android Mini is being highly compared with Droid Turbo, which also comes from the same line and sports the same amount of RAM and the same processor. This could mean that the Android Mini could also have the same 20MP rear camera and the 2MP front camera featured in Droid Turbo, a big improvement from the previous Droid Mini model with only 10MP rear camera. A Turbo Mini might even be in the works, shares the article.

The leaked photos of Droid Turbo seem to have piqued the interest of many. Gotta Be Mobile says that it will be in competition with Samsung Galaxy S5 and Apple iPhone 6. So far only leaked information of the upcoming handset is available as Motorola has recently release two other models, the Moto X and Moto G for 2014. The company also launched the Moto 360 smart watch.

Like Droid Mini, Droid Turbo will come to Verizon, as Gotta be Mobile relays that Verizon and Motorola has an exclusive deal for the carrier to offer all the "DROID" smartphones, shares IB Times. Droid Maxx is also included in the deal. Droid Turbo will apparently be the replacement to Droid Ultra. The new Droid Turbo will allegedly come with either a 3300 or 3500 mAh battery and will be capable of fast-charging and wireless charging.
