"Penny Dreadful" news is becoming a fast-building news topper nowadays as the creators were reportedly looking forward into reprising more legendary characters.

Success isn't new to the series, so growth and rebuilding rounds up to be vital. Moreover, it seems the creators are eyeing for a specific persons to portray the upcoming roles.

Quantum of Solace's Rory Kinnear became the only choice of creator John Logan. According to Enstarz, he had these particular attributes distinct for the role - tender and brutal, at the same time. In addition he had received a lot of positive feedbacks from his past roles.

Moreover, Randolph Carter, who plays a recurring role in H. P. Lovecraft's fiction, is speculated to be seen next year on the said series. Reportedly, he is perfect to play a literary character - Spring Heeled Jack or Cthulhu.

Jack was known to be a phantom demonic figure who is seeking vendetta by killing strangers. There are no other articles that expound who Spring Heeled Jack is; given this fact, the show must have an idea of creating this role. It will hit, for sure.

Cthulhu was first witnessed in several mythical books. This creature is described as a sea-monster who is living in a city under the waters called R'lyeh. In addition, this huge monster is reported to have several worshippers. Some say it might be Carter, but some rumors believe the role's perfect for Andy Serkis.

But, nonetheless, the gothic horror show is becoming more and more popular after its latest episode. The last episode revealed the death of Billie Piper's Brona Croft; she may have demised but she still recurs on the next season.

"Penny Dreadful" started off eight weeks ago, and in fact, it garners most attention as it gives life to the legendary figures that only a few knows.

Showtime's "Penny Dreadful" is set to premiere its second season on 2015.
