Colts receiver Reggie Wayne injures right knee in game against Broncos

Reggie Wayne, the wide receiver of the Indianapolis Colts injured his right knee in a game against the Broncos Sunday night. According to CBS Sports, Wayne was in tears when he left the field. The injury happened when he tried to lunge for the ball delivered by Andrew Luck, the team's quarterback. Wayne did not catch the ball as the injury occurred before the ball reached him.

Luck said he blamed himself for his teammate's injury. He said, "It was my fault. Terrible throw. We know he's a fighter. We're hoping for the best." This was the first time that Wayne would miss a game. From 2001, he holds the longest streak among football's active players, having played 189 consecutive games.

According to the 2013, NFL Team Valuation by Forbes, the Indianapolis Colts ranked 11th on the list. The team has a current value of USD 1.2 million. It has revenues of USD 276 million on an operating income of USD 65 million.
