Bison Capital announces closure of its fourth fund

Bison Capital Asset Management LLC announced the final closure of Bison Capital Partners IV LP. The fund has a total of USD218 million worth of capital commitments, which is over and above over its target. 

The fund would be utilized to make growth capital investments for lower middle-market companies as well as acquisitions, expansion and balance sheet recapitalizations. The company's primary investment focus partners with entrepreneurs as well as management teams to seek capital to grow their business.

The Santa Monica, CA and New York, NY based investment firm had closed four private equity funds with a volume over USD600 million since its inception back in 2001. It now has USD350 million of capital in its management portfolio, Amongst the partners in Fund IV are leading public and private pension funds, insurance companies, fund of funds and family offices.

We believe our reputation in the investment community and seasoned investment team will allow us to identify and make profitable investments."
