Jones Lang LaSalle announced it is acquiring Capital Realty, a company with a solid industrial and office presence in Kansas City and the surrounding metropolitan area.

Jones Lang LaSalle is a major real estate industry player based in Chicago, Illinois. Jones Lang LaSalle manages at least 1,000 offices in 70 countries across the world, including an office in Kansas city. Capital Realty, on the other hand, presently operates around 5.4 million square feet across 90 properties for both local and regional institutional owners in the Kansas City area.

Both companies wanted to make a vital push into the industrial market of Kansas City.  "Adding Capital Realty's leading local real estate expertise to our global services and resources will allow us to expand the services we can provide in the Kansas City market, an area that plays a critical role in the national supply chain," Jones Lang LaSalle managing regional director Larry Glaze explained.
