The launch of HTC One was pushed back to August 15, according to Droid-Life. The site published what it claimed to be an internal document. The document noted the new release date of HTC One. However, Verizon did not confirm this information yet.

This new development crushed rumors of HTC One's release in August 1. The smartphone will be made available to all subscribers of Verizon Wireless.

HTC One was first launched last April in the United States. This release was also delayed because of supplier issues. As a result, the HTC One was not released to 80 markets, which was initially planned, but rather to only a handful of markets.

Because of this, HTC posted record low earnings in the first quarter of the year. Revenue was posted at TWD70.7 billion, net profit was TWD1.25 billion, and earnings per share was TWD1.50. Meanwhile, the company's third quarter revenue was expected to be in the range of TWD50 billion to TWD60 billion.
