To improve cybersecurity within the cryptocurrency industry, a new initiative likened to a "Neighborhood Watch" has emerged, spearheaded by cybersecurity expert Justine Bone.

Per Coindesk, Justine Bone, the executive director of Crypto ISAC, oversees the operations of the industry's first Information Sharing and Analysis Center.

The center is dedicated to fostering collaboration and analysis among all stakeholders in the cryptocurrency sector, inviting everyone to join the effort to combat hacking and other harmful activities in the digital currency space.

The Best Cyber Security For Cryptocurrency

Crypto ISAC legitimizes information exchange within the cryptocurrency domain, mirroring practices in established fields such as healthcare and finance. With Bone's cybersecurity experience and the varied membership of Crypto ISAC, cybersecurity challenges, and incidents are expected to decrease within the crypto sector.

This initiative emerges at a time when the cryptocurrency sector is contending with persistent security issues. In 2023, hacks targeting crypto platforms lost around $1.7 billion. Recently, VCPost reported that a crypto investor lost $70 million in just 6 hours due to a scam.

With the presence of cybersecurity groups like Crypto ISAC, the future of cryptocurrency is poised to be more secure. This development instills a sense of hope, as people who invest in or use cryptocurrency can feel more confident that their money and information are safe.
