Boeing Whistleblower Warns About 787 Dreamliner Issues

According to The Epoch Times' Sam Salehpour is scheduled to testify regarding Boeing's manufacturing quality issues. A Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday, Apr. 17.

But, Salehpour already revealed alarming details during an interview on Tuesday, Apr. 16. The Boeing whistleblower said that the 787 Dreamliner has serious issues he has never seen before.

He specifically refers to the gaps between the aircraft's fuselage pieces. The Boeing whistleblower claimed that these gaps are too wide, which could cause fatigue failure after thousands of flights due to the stress.

Sam Salehpour said the Boeing 787 Dreamliner could fall apart at the joints when a fatigue failure happens at altitude.

"Once you fall apart, you're going to descend all the way to the ground," he added.

Whistleblower Claims Boeing Rushes Production

Aside from the serious issues with the 787 Dreamliner, Salehpour claimed that the American aircraft manufacturer is rushing the production of its airplanes, accusing Boeing of overlooking safety standards.

"Effectively, they are putting out defective airplanes, respectively," he said via Fox Business.

Boeing defended itself against the accusations made by the whistleblower. The aircraft developer said that its 787 Dreamliner fleet safely transported over 850 million people. The company added that its 777 airplanes also transported more than 3 billion passengers without any issue.
