A new batch of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) payments will be distributed for the month of April.

April has four scheduled payment dates, and two of them have already been sent out.

If a payment is not received by the end of the month, it may be necessary to reach out to the Social Security Administration (SSA) for assistance.

There are some cases that deviate from the norm. If the third day of the month happens to land on a weekend or holiday, your payment will be processed and delivered to you on the closest business day.

The payment system operates in a way that mirrors a company's approach, distributing payments evenly throughout the month. This allows the Social Security Administration to efficiently handle and adapt to any changes in situations.

Each month, payments are issued based on the recipient's date of birth. Here is a breakdown of how it works:

• If your birthday falls between the first and 10th of the month, the payment will be sent on the second Wednesday of the month.
• For individuals with birthdays from the 11th to the 20th of the month, the payment will be sent on the third Wednesday of each month.
• For individuals with birthdays between the 21st and 31st of the month, the payment will be sent on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

Who's Getting SSDI Payment Today?

Meanwhile, here are the dates for the potential arrival of your SSDI funds: 

• April 3: Payment for individuals who have been receiving SSDI benefits prior to May 1997.
• April 10: SSDI payment for individuals whose birthdays fall between the first and 10th of each month.
• April 17: SSDI payment scheduled for individuals whose birthdays fall between the 11th and 20th of each month.
• April 24: SSDI payment scheduled for individuals whose birthdays fall between the 21st and 31st of each month.

On April 17, individuals whose birth dates fall between the 11th and 20th of any given month can anticipate receiving their payment, according to Marca.
