Celebrated chef Kentaro Nakahara is bringing the world-renowned Wagyu katsu sando to Miami by opening his new restaurant, Nakahara, in the city's Design District.

The restaurant will feature Wagyu beef's excellent tastes and textures and a handpicked Japanese menu, according to a Bloomberg report.

Known as the Porsche of sandwiches, this luxurious creation features premium beef, milk bread, and tangy-sweet tare sauce, offering a unique dining experience.

Originating in Japan, the Wagyu katsu sando gained popularity in the US about a decade ago, with notable appearances in New York City, including a $185 version. Nakahara plans to introduce the most famous rendition of this sandwich from Tokyo to Miami later this year..

In addition to sandwiches, Nakahara serves Japanese-Korean grilled meats, sumibi (charcoal-grilled) foods, naengmyeon noodles, and kakigori shaved ice desserts.

The Miami restaurant is Nakahara's first outside of Japan, showcasing his traditional Japanese cuisine. Nakahara promises an amazing meal by introducing Miami customers to Wagyu and binchotan cuisine with painstaking attention to detail.

Increased production and commerce have boosted the Wagyu beef industry. While Wagyu beef is prized worldwide for its marbling and softness, Technavio warns that Wagyu beef's high price may limit market growth.

Distribution channels (offline and online), product kinds (Japanese breed, Australian breed), and geographical areas (APAC, North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and South America) segment the market.

APAC is expected to generate 74% of market growth throughout the projected period.

Wagyu beef consumption in Japan is driving APAC market expansion. Additionally, a substantial volume of Wagyu beef trade fuels market expansion in the region.

The research states that Australia and Japan export the most Wagyu beef in Asia-Pacific. Top importers include Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore.

Technavio noted that the APAC Wagyu beef market boost is driven by the "growing food service industry."
