Finding Bigfoot Season 8 will take viewers to the North State as the cast and crew continues to hunt for Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch. Meanwhile, James Fay posted an update on the show on his Facebook page.

According to KRCR News, the cast and crew of the hit show went to Redding in Northern California to continue their search for Bigfoot.

"Well we have come to Redding to look into Sasquatch reports because there are basically a lot of Bigfoots in Northern California," said evidence analyst Cliff Barackman, who believes that there is more than one Sasquatch. He added that they are a perfectly normal biological species of hominoid of some sort so there has to be more than one.

The crew also held a meeting with the local residents about their encounters with Sasquatch, according to Latin Post and almost 150 locals heard about 30 people share stories about their personal encounters with the wild beast. Dozens of people also shared sightings in the regions of Mt. Shasta and McCloud.

"Up in the Marble Mountains my church group found a Bigfoot nest," said Adehl Williams. "And then up on the ridge they started seeing something walking along the ridge. They filmed it and it's been known since then as the 'Marble Mountain Footage of Bigfoot.'"

The Finding Bigfoot team consists of Bigfoot Field Research Organization (BFRO) President Matt Moneymaker, researchers James "Bobo" Fay and Cliff Barackman, and scientist and skeptic Ranae Holland. In his Facebook page, Fay posted a status update on the premiere date for Finding Bigfoot Season 8.

"We don't have a rock solid date for a new season but as of now mid-January," the status states.

The team will be in Redding for about a week and they will be spending more time in the western part not too far from Weaverville.

Finding Bigfoot Season 8 will premiere on Animal Planet.
