Every parent seems to be handling some kind of parental issue in "Nashville" Season 4 Episode 8 titled "Unguarded Moments". Juliette enters rehab for her postpartum depression while her husband is struggling with money issue that isn't making solo parenting not easy. Rayna struggles with finding a balance with her career and family as Luke is caught with the same dilemma.

A major record label took notice of Maddie when she went onstage with Juliette a few episodes back reports IB Times. Rayna is not happy with this however as she doesn't want her daughter to be placed in the spotlight yet. Not only she has to handle her daughter who is desperate to start performing professionally but she has also her artists to worry about.

Markus is still causing her headaches with his ego. He won't be appreciating Rayna's difficult time in balancing work and family. Meanwhile, Luke will try to get back Colt's trust after he refused to believe Colt's accusation that he saw Juliette on the roof with Jeff when he fell to his death.

Elsewhere, "Nashville" Season 4 synopsis for this episode reveals that Gunnar's girlfriend, Erin, causes issues with Scarlett who goes on tour with Gunnar according to Yibada.

Meanwhile, Avery is struggling in taking care of baby Cadence because of money problems. He resorts to making jingles to make some fast cash.

In the previous episode of "Nashville" Season 4, Juliette finally accepted the fact that she needs help in dealing with her depression reports Christian Today. She was seen silently checking into Horizons Rehab Center. For a while, she kept on blocking the night of Jeff's death from her memory and her responsibility to it. She is horrified however when she eventually remembers.

Her downward spiral started after she gave birth to her baby and chose to leave Avery and their daughter. Avery got fed up with her behavior and asked for a divorce. The postpartum storyline had to be incorporated when Hayden Panettiere, the actress who plays Juliette, was diagnosed of having postpartum depression herself and needed to go on medical leave.

EP Dee Johnson denied that the show patterned Juliette's storyline with Panettiere's real life struggles. She said it is not unusual for shows to make adjustments in storylines especially if the actor's personal life is at stake. Johnson further revealed that Panettiere will be back on the show  soon.

Fans of Juliette Barnes are surely relieved to know that she will be coming back to the show soon to hopefully pick-up the pieces of her life. "Nashville" Season 4 episode 8 will air on Wednesday, November 18 on ABC.
