"How to Get Away With Murder" season 2 will grace the small screens in two months and fans can expect the origin of Annalise and Frank's relationship to be tackled. Also, the second season will see the professor investigating the death of Rebecca Sutter, who could still be alive according to reports.

Viola Davis and the  rest of the cast of "How to Get Away with Murder" are already gearing up for the return of the legal drama on ABC. Fans of Annalise and Charlie Weber's Frank Delfino will be delighted to know that season 2 will explore the origin of their working relationship.

Viola Davis told The Hollywood Reporter that she and Weber already theorized many angles as to how the two started working together but the actress understands that there is still so much to know about Frank that the viewers should be excited about.

"Frank has a lot of mystery about him. The writers are going to explore that much more in the future: how he came to work with Annalise and what his background was."

During first season finale of "How to Get Away With Murder,"  Annalise and Frank hid the lifeless body of Rebecca Sutter, played by Katie Findlay, under the stairs and both of them have denied their involvement in the murder of Davis' client, reports Breathe Cast.

However, the actress admits that since Frank killed Megan West' Lila Stangard before, Annalise still has doubts for her employee.

"If you go into any prison today everybody will say, 'I didn't do it' even if you found the DNA there," Davis said. "So as an actor, I made a choice that it was a total surprise to me. At the end of the day, I don't trust Frank. It's a path I created for Annalise because of her past."

Just recently though, fans of the show got confused as Katie Findlay casually tweeted that she is on the set of "How to Get Away With Murder," which is currently filming season 2.

International Business Times speculated that Findlay's character could still be alive but there's also a possibility that the actress might only be shooting a flashback scene. Either way, diehards of the show should watch out for her appearance in the new season of the ABC TV series.

"How to Get Away With Murder" season 2 might reveal the origin of Frank and Annalise's working relationship while Katie Findlay's character may do a comeback from the dead. The legal drama will return to ABC on September 24.
