As part of Marvel's showcase at Disney's D23 Expo 2015, the studio has revealed a concept art seezle reel featuring Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange costume. The studio's next big non-sequel superhero film which will follow the origin from the graphic novel, lands in theaters on November 2016.

Marvel has already promised its fans that "Doctor Strange" will fully embrace crazy sci-fi/fantasy concepts such as alternate dimensions, also presenting very intriguing visuals. Unfortunately, the studio has not launched any promotional materials to provide the fans their first look at the superhero film until last weekend. During Disney's D23 Expo, Marvel's Kevin Feige introduced a concept art seezle reel featuring Benedict Cumberbatch's Sorcerer Supereme outfit.

Though the color scheme is somehow similar, Cinema Blend reports that the costume features darker hues than how it is illustrated in the comics. The character is garbed in a cool navy blue tunic and the iconic flowing, red levitation cloak strapped to his back. Playing like a motion comic with a narration from Scott Derrickson, the reel also gave the fans a sneak peek into the story of the upcoming movie that tells the transformation of Dr. Stephen Strange into one of the world's most powerful sorcerers.

The voice over confirms that the origin from the graphic novel would also be the backbone of Cumberbatch's superhero flick. As previously reported, Dr. Stephen Strange is a neurosurgeon whose hands could be permanently damaged after getting into a car accident. Eager to find a cure, he ends up as a student of the supernatural entity, The Ancient One. The live-action movie is helmed by Derrickson based on the script written by Thomas Dean Donelly and Joshua Openheimer.

Apart from Cumberbacth, "Doctor Strange" will also star Chiwetel Ejiofor  ("12 Years A Slave") as Baron Karl Amadeus Mordo and Tilda Swilton ("The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe") as The Ancient One. The superhero film is slated to commence filming this November, for a November 4, 2016 release.
