Motorola's Moto G 2015 is formally released in India and admittedly, it was Motorola's less interesting handset at this point. However, no matter how less interesting it is, Moto G is Motorola's top selling device today, in fact, it has sold more units than the Moto X Style, which is by far more sophisticated and advanced than the latter.

To look further into the less interesting but top selling Motorola G, it is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410, which is not bad actually for a less popular device, Engadget said. The entry level model will only cost a buyer $180, which has a tight memory of 8GB and a 1GB RAM. The next Moto G, which has 16GB of RAM, is priced at $220.

To add, the Moto G has the IPx7 Certification, which means that the phone can be submerged up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. However, no matter how the Moto G looks though, unlike its counterpart, it is not dust proof, according to ChristianPost, Aside from the quad-core CPU, it also comes with a microSD card slot which will allow its user to extend the phone's memory.

The Moto G 2015 camera is equipped with an 8-megapixel primary snapper with a 5MP secondary front camera. Moto G will also feature a 4G LTE capability and a 2,470mAh battery. The 2015 Moto G also bagged a decent 23355 AnTuTu benchmark points, which makes the device a good buy for a very reasonable price.

The mid-range smartphone also features a 5-inch 1280 x 720-pixel display which makes the screen brighter (not bad for a budget phone) that make movies more immersive and entertaining. It also runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS. Another impressive about the low-cost phone was it's easy to understand interface, considering that Motorola is known to be one of the not so most friendly user devices in the industry.

The Moto G 2015 proved that it can take on its more advanced and sophisticated counterpart, because of its affordability and the features it has that is similar to the expensive smartphones. The Moto G is also a no brainer for someone who is looking at Motorola's Moto E.
