GoPro Hero 5's October Release Pushed Back To Early 2016: Delay used for enhancements

Die hard GoPro fans might have to wait a little bit longer for the release of the GoPro Hero 5. Previous reports said that the much-anticipated gadget will be officially available in the market this coming October, but there were recent reports that GoPro has pushed it, to early next year due to some technical issues.

The GoPro Hero 5 is somewhat expected to be made due to the massive success of the Hero 4. The newest action video camera, according to Christian Today, will have the capacity to capture around 8,000 videos at the speed of 60 frames per second. With that said, the GoPro Hero 5 will produce a more vivid and dramatic images compared to the impressive enough performance of the Hero 4. In addition, the Hero 5 will feature a Full Ultra HD capability that can and will provide clearer images with an outstanding 4,320 pixels. The Hero 5 will also give its users the option to capture it at 4,000 at 60fps, like what the previous version offers.

Day Herald also said that the Hero 5 will also feature the ability to capture 3D videos which will surely dramatically enhance the experience of the user. Also, with the 3D technology, GoPro will surely stay on top of the food chain for a long time, motion capture camera arena wise. The report also said that the Hero 5 will be equipped with a dual lens that will allow the unit to record and capture 3D videos, which makes GoPro the first to feature this technology in the game.

The website also said that Hero 5 will be dropped officially in the market on October, but a more recent report from BidnessETC says otherwise. The tech website said that according to GoPro themselves, the release of the Hero 5 was pushed to either by the end of the year or early next year. The said delay has been decided by GoPro to make way to further enhance the promising features that were previously reported.

According to the report, in relation to the delay, the company is putting more attention to further enhance the Hero 5's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity as well as its HDMI ports. It is also rumored that it will be priced at around $400 and $500, which makes perfect sense considering what the newest gadget has to offer.
