"Modern Family" has been winning the hearts of the viewers for almost seven years now. The show remains as ABC's gem, winning 5 Emmys already, which means Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winters, and Nolan Gould, have already grown on set together as the children of the Dunphy household.

Since the first episode airing of "Modern Family" in 2009 until the last episode of their sixth season, Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winters, and Nolan Gould have been portraying as the kids of Claire (Julie Bowen) and Phil (Ty Burrell).

In an interview by Gold Derby during an Emmy event in Los Angeles, Winter, who plays Alex Dunphy, and Gould, Luke in the series, talked about the things they love in the show and their favorite cast member to do scenes with.

The 17-year-old Ariel Winter, whose character enters college in "Modern Family" season 7, said that she has been happy to see her role grow during the show's sixth season and considers herself lucky to have good scripts.

"I feel really honored that they're entrusting me with that kind of leverage on the show. It's really amazing. They've written me so many amazing storylines," said Winter.

Nolan Gould on the other hand, revealed that he enjoys doing scenes with his TV grandpa, played by Ed O'Neill. Gould said that he even learns from the veteran actor when they share scenes together.

"I love doing scenes with Ed [O'Neil]. He's such an interesting guy to work with," said the 16-year-old star. "He has so many great stories since he's been in this business for so many years. I love being around him and picking up on things that he does and even getting advice from him."

Sarah Hyland is also having so much fun playing Haley, the eldest Claire and Phil, she tells People. The 24-year-old actress said that she covets her character's wardrobe since all of Haley's clothes were tailor-made just for her. Hyland also recently chopped her hair into a bob and plans to keep it that way if her role requires.

ABC's hit sitcom already has 5 Emmy wins throughout its 6-season run and some thinks that another award is coming their way. Others however, think that "Modern Family" is already nearing its end but co-creator Steven Levitan is confident that the show still has a few more years left before it takes its final bow.

"Modern Family" stars Sarah Hyland, Ariel Winter, and Nolan Gould will return for the show's seventh season and continue being one of ABC's strongest bets in the comedy genre.
