Inside Out is a long time coming. It's been a while since Pixar's last movie- nearly two years since Monsters University, which premiered in June of 2013. And nearly five years since the last Pixar movie to inspire the overwhelming, sobbing-in-the-straights adoration that Pixar movies usually receive (the last time audiences sobbed in unison was probably Toy Story 3, back in 2010).

But Inside Out is getting buzz like it'll be the best Pixar film in years. Starring Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith, Bill Hader, Lewis Black and Mindy Kaling, Inside Out follows a young girl, Riley, who struggles with growing up, as the five emotions inside her mind- Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger and Disgust- struggle with a journey throughout the inside of Riley's mind.

And according to star Amy Poehler, the film's going to be Oscar-caliber incredible. "I mean, I think Inside Out is an Oscar-worthy film," Poehler explained in a recent interview. "It really shows how far Pixar has brought animation that this movie can kind of stand against other films. But all those things ahead . . . yes, in all different ways."

Poehler also explained why she first joined the cast of Inside Out. "Well, to be honest, I was interested because it was Pixar. And they are like the gold standard, and if they had asked me to do anything I would have said yes. That's not a good negotiation tactic, by the way, but it's true. And then when I found out what the story was, and the setting, inside an 11-year-old girl-and I was playing Joy-it was really awesome."

Pixar isn't the only Pixar film due out this year- The Good Dinosaur is also slated to release on November 25. Word from Pixar has been suprisingly quiet though, after numerous reports of delays and conflicts during the film's production. What do you think?
