'Sleepy Hollow' Season 3 spoilers hint that after the show has been officially renewed by Fox, the storyline will be very different. New producers bring big changes to the upcoming series. One example is the Crane family, where we will less likely to see them more.

Fox has officially confirmed that the supernatural series 'Sleepy Hollow' is renewed for Season 3. This renewal will bring new changes for the show. The network president David Madden has expressed his excitement, via released statement, of the huge changes thanks to the new producers of the show.

If you agree, the last season did not receive good remarks from the viewers. That is why; the series was feared to be killed by the network due to serious drop in the ratings. It was said that the reason was the inconsistency of the story from its first season. Many actors of the show even agreed that it should have a reboot if it returned for the third season.

Now, it seems that new producers are seriously rebooting the show.  Though, as of this moment, the stars and the new producers are keeping their mouth shut regarding the plot of the upcoming season. There are not many details, except the recent press release by the network, which contains handful spoilers.

"The jaw-dropping conclusion of Season 2 left Ichabod Crane and Lieutenant Abbie Mills with a decisive, albeit heartbreaking, victory over evil. In the name of good, Crane made the ultimate decision to kill his wife, Katrina Crane. With evil seemingly at bay, the third season will explore how the partnership between Crane and Mills will evolve and what challenges these two witnesses will now face."

Not only that, actor Tom Mison was also very open during his interviews about what he perceived would be the future of the series. He said that Crane family would be limited to season two.

"I rather like that Abbie was the one who killed Henry. I like that. I think there could be legs in that in the third season, but then we don't want to mope around for half of season 3. I think we've seen enough Crane family drama," Mison told Variety.

Perhaps, Clifton Campbell, who was recently announced to be taking over for previous showrunner Mark Goffman, will shift the show into a direction that even Mison could not have predicted.
