The fate of 'Sleepy Hollow' Season 3 is still uncertain up to this day. But fans loved the second season of the show, as well as the actor Tom Mison who reportedly told what could happen next.

According to a report, the star Tom Mison told TVLine that he loved watching the finale. He even shown support for the possible third season, but he said it would need an overhaul.

"If we do get a third season, it would definitely be a reboot," Mison said  TVLine. "It certainly felt, after watching [the finale], particularly the last 20 minutes of it, it certainly felt like we've acknowledged the show that everyone loved, and we can still do it."

"If there is no third season, then it certainly feels like ending it on a high and rounding it off nicely" adding that there are "still lots of exciting stories" for the show to tell in future seasons.

Mison adores how Crane himself internalized his emotions to fight the darkness. If it is renewed, fans can expect more of this, "I don't think he's the kind to do that, actually. I don't think he would want anyone to see how much he's hurting. He would want to get on with it. They made a choice. Henry and Katrina made their decision to turn dark. Abbie and Ichabod made their decision to fight against it, and that's the decision and we're going to go with, and I'm going to be strong and we've got other battles to fight. This is what I'd like to see: him put a lid on it and let those emotions just bubble underneath. Much like we saw in Season 1 when he was so eager to hide his emotions and then there'd just be outbursts, like when he went completely nuts against the scarecrow root monster. And, I guess, the built-up tension that let him go nuts on Solomon Kent in this season. Little bursts of uncontrollable violence, because he's trying to keep everything under wraps."

Though the ending of the second season finely created closure and whetted appetites, the Season 3 'reboot' might be helpful for the show in attracting more viewers, as it was previously reported that many fans and even some casts are getting frustrated with the second second's story direction.

The frustration of the viewers and cast later led to seriously dropping of ratings, it was reported. And, an overhaul is a great chance for the 'Sleepy Hollow' Season 3 for a fresh start but only if it is picked for renewal.
