Being a "Dance Mom" is not easy. But far more difficult (and, let's face it, more damaging) is being one of the young dancers featured on the Lifetime series.

This week was no different- this past episode of "Dance Moms," entitled, "No More Crybabies," saw the various "Dance Moms" daughters all competing for a spot in a solo competition at Nationals. Which, of course, sends the many helicopter parents into vicious competition with each other as well.

Celeb Dirty Laundry has the winner- and after a lot of difficult practice, temper tantrums and screaming, belligerent parents, it's Nia who wins out and gains the feature role.

However, not everything has to do with the dance floor. A piece in Enstars shows that Maddie Ziegler, one of the series many child dancers, is taking a vacation away from the stress of "Dance Moms" along with her mother and sister (although with her own "Dance Mom" still on the vacation, who knows how stressful it will really be).

Maddie's mother, Melissa Gisoni, also plays up her daughter's happiness, and tamps down a rumor that Maddie has been feuding with the other girls in the series.

"To be honest with you, I don't think there's any rivalry at all. You should see Maddie and Chloe backstage. They say I love you, they pray together, it's the cutest thing. The show wants them to be at each other's throats, but they're not. They're so supportive of each other."

Ziegler's been on the warpath recently- a piece in International Business Times shows off the grade-school reality star at the MTV VMAs, rubbing shoulders with various celebrities like Jennifer Lopez or Katy Perry.

Ziegler was featured in a video for Sia, which ended up winning an award for choreography. Clearly, "Dance Moms" has actually done this girl a little bit of good. Hopefully we can say the same for the other young women in the series.
