"Orphan Black" Season 4: Official synopsis has been released! New characters to appear in the upcoming season

The official synopsis of 'Orphan Black' Season 4 is finally released. The upcoming season is set to feature its roots with Sarah and the previous season's clone, Beth. Also a new actor joins the cast as a series regular and many more characters will appear as the show progresses.

According to Slash Film the synopsis reads, "Sarah will follow Beth's footsteps into a dangerous relationship with a potent new enemy, heading in a horrifying new direction. Under constant pressure to protect the sisterhood and keep everyone safe, Sarah's old habits begin to resurface. As the close-knit sisters are pulled in disparate directions, Sarah finds herself estranged from the loving relationships that changed her for the better."

Other than that, a new character will also be seen in the 4th season. The Hollywood Reporter mentions that Joel Thomas Hynes has been added to the cast as a series regular. Hynes will play the character of Dizzy, a hacker who refuses to conform to group mentality. On the side note, the show will add more characters as the filming progresses.

BBC America finally released the official synopsis of 'Orphan Black' Season 4. It suggests that the upcoming season will be returning to its roots with Sarah Manning, the show's lead character. The synopsis will be tackling the previous season's clone Beth Childs once again.
