"Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 Spoilers: Owen's life will be ruined as Michael Henderson joins the cast

A newcomer is going to shake Owen's life in a negative way in 'Grey's Anatomy' Season 12. There are some speculations that the newly casted actor, Michael Henderson is the culprit. Other than that, the showrunner confirms that the newcomer is not going to be Meredith's new lover.

According to TV Line, Kevin McKidd (Owen Hunt M.D.) teased that "Somebody comes along during the season from Owen's past". Someone will shake things up for the doctor in a bad way. McKidd also added that the newcomer "ignites a lot of things in Owen and causes real problems from him."

On the side note, there are speculations that the person who will cause problems for Owen is none other than the character of Michael Henderson. As mentioned on TV Guide, the New Zealand-native actor was cast in Season 12 of 'Grey's Anatomy' as the hospital's newest surgeon.

Moreover, there are rumors that Henderson was cast as Meredith Grey's (Ellen Pompeo) new love interest after the death of Derek Shepherd's (Patrick Dempsey). However Shonda Rhimes, the showrunner of 'Grey's Anatomy' shuts down the rumors. Rhimes told E! News, "That's not the focus of what were doing with her right now".She insisted that she wasn't planning on introducing a new romantic interest for Meredith.

Kevin McKidd reveals that his character Owen is going to have a miserable journey in the 12th season of 'Grey's Anatomy'. Some speculations even pointed out that new actor of the cast Michael Henderson, will be the hospital's newest surgeon. In addition, showrunner Shonda addresses the rumors and stated that Henderson is not going to be Meredith's new love interest.

'Grey's Anatomy' Season 12 airs every Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. exclusively on ABC. 'Grey's Anatomy' is a medical drama series which focuses on a group of doctors at a Seattle hospital.
