Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Vs. Motorola Moto X Style: Which one wins the battle of phablets?

Recently, Motorola and Samsung launched their newest phablets, the Moto X Style and Galaxy Note 5. Both looks good on papers and promise tons of things but who amongst the two will truly live up to their promises.

Below are the run-downs:

To start off, Latino Post reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 might have a good head start than the X Style since it was released ecently. On the other hand, Motorola's next flagship device is expected to hit the racks on September 3rd.

In addition, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has partnered with major carriers like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, which gives the Note 5 a great advantage due to the carriers' loyal subscribers. The phablet is also available at major retailers like Best Buy and online.

In contrast, the Moto X Style will be sold unlocked, meaning it can work with any carriers, without contracts. The website also cited that the Moto X Style will be cheaper, almost half of the price, compared to the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Motorola's X Style will be sold at around $400 while the Note 5 will be at the $750 range.

 With regards to what's under the hood, GSM Arena conveyed that the Moto X Style and the Galaxy Note 5 have their own strengths and weaknesses so it will be hard to point out which wins.

Moto X Style will rock 5.0" 16M colors 720 x 1280 pixels capacitive touchscreen IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3 and ~294 ppi //todo check while the Galaxy Note 5 will sport a 5.7" QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 518ppi.

The Motorola phablet will run on Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 whereas the Samsung will ride on 64-bit Exynos 7420 chipset with 14nm architecture processor, Android Pit added. Both devices will run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will be equipped with a somewhat identical battery capacity.

So far, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 tops the Motorola Moto X Style, without contention. However, the comparison between the two amazing phablets will not be complete, until the Moto X Style will be released in the market.
