Apple rumored to release 2016 MacBook Air in November $100 cheaper than its predecessor

Apple is known to follow the company's tradition such as their product lines and release date. However, it was recently rumored that the Cupertino-based giant will veer away from the norm by releasing its MacBook Air 2016 i8s earlier than expected.

The new MacBook Air was first set to be launched by March 2016, but it is now rumored to be released by an earlier date in November, Latino Post reported. The article added that Apple looks to compete with Motorola who is also rumored to release its flagship devices on November. Another case that the news website pointed out is that the newest MacBook Air will be $100 less that its older brother. making it the cheapest Apple laptop in history.

Geek Snack, on the other hand, echoed what Latino Post has reported when the tech website cited that Apple looks to compete with Motorola who is due to release their Moto X Style, Moto X Play, and Moto G on the same month.

Apple's new strategy, according to the website, has something to do with other manufacturers approach to launch ahead of the market leader hoping to get a head start with regards to sales. However, Apple's strategists seem to notice this trend, thus surprising everyone in the market, especially Motorola, with the new move.

Looking to Apple's upcoming baby, it will carry its older brother's 13-inch monitor, but there is also a rumor that it will also come in at a 15-inch display, Jobs N Hire reported. It will also have its predecessor's Retina Display that debuted in the MacBook Air 2015.

The MacBook Air 2016 will also rock an Intel's Core M Skylake processor and will have a 4GB RAM and a 128GB SSD Storage. In addition, the mid range variant will have the same RAM but a larger SSD space, 256GB while the top of the line will have an 8GB RAM and a 512GB SSD.

However, up until this report, Apple has yet to confirm the rumors that surround the 2016 MacBook Air including the release dates, specifics, and its price.
