Whether Expendables 4 will be pushed through or not, Sylvester Stallone has not confirmed anything yet but co-actors Jason Statham and Arnold Schwarzenneger have been vocal that they want another sequel for the franchise. Casting news continue to surface as new names have been linked to the movie.

Due to piracy, the third installment , The Expendables 3 has garnered the lowest income in all 3 prior movies released. According to Master Herald, the first film garnered $274.5 million, while the second film grossed $311.9 million. However, the most recent instalment, only grossed $206.2 million, and is now being pointed as the reason why Stallone is having second thoughts about producing another film.

But even with Stallone's doubts, actors Jason Statham and Arnold Schwarzenneger continue to be big fans of the franchise and suggest that Expendables 4 should happen. As reported by Kpopstarz, Statham said that he has always been a fan of Stallone and that working with the renowned actor is a "pinch yourself moment".

"Working with Sylvester Stallone is beyond a pinch yourself moment," the actor said. "I remember growing up watching his films. And to be directed by him and to be in a movie that he's produced and to be shoulder to shoulder with Sly is a privilege any man who loves action movies would never turn their nose up at. I mean, it's terrific. I'll do as many as he wants." 

According to Imkpop, Schwarzenneger is also reportedly in Statham's side, and even told Stallone to write another movie for the franchise. "I just think it's a terrific franchise.I told Sly to write another one or have someone else write another one. A really terrific story. Because I think it's a great idea to have an ensemble piece with that many action heroes in a movie. Especially if the comedy is really done well. It could be a great story. There's definitely room for another one." he said.

Meanwhile, although it has not been confirmed yet, several casting rumors have connected the names of Jackie Chan, Pierce Brosnan, and Hulk Hogan for the film. Manny Pacquiao was also previously rumored to star in the film, although Stallone reportedly denied the rumor.

Previous instalments for the film starred Stallone, Mel Gibson, Antonio Banderas, Jet Li, and Bruce Willis among many others. No release date has been given for The Expendables 4, but more details about the movie are expected to be released in the coming days, should the movie be pushed through.
