"The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials" has been announced to premiere this coming September 18 and spoilers about the film have already been revealed. According to the star Dylan O'Brien, the human experimentations will continue in the sequel of the film.

In the first part of the film, the Gladers that were part of the experiment were able to discover their way out after they went through the changing series of maze. These Gladers are genetically altered children and O'Brien's Thomas was the one who motivated the other Gladers to find a way out from their confinement, Guardian Liberty Voice reported.

The Gladers had to go through the mazes as well as look after each other as mechanically enhanced Grievers were guarding the exit of the maze. "The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials" will be showing more of how Thomas and his friends get to the bottom of the scientific experiments they are being used in.

"The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials" will be showing Thomas and his friends being "helped" by a group of individuals but they will eventually find out that they are still part of the experiment controlled by the organization called W.I.C.K.E.D, Latino Post reported.

According to the publication, the writers of the movie, Jason Lanzing and Colin Kelly, said in an interview that the project's second installment will be an exploration of a second maze. Director Wes Ball also shared in an interview that the second film has the same ingredients as the first but there are things from the first book that will be shown in the second movie while there are stuff in the second book that are to be revealed in the third installment of the film.

In a previous report, the second movie will be shown in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on September 18, 2015.

Aside from these reports, Aiden Gillen of the "Game of Thrones" will be joining the cast as a character named Janson and he will be manipulating Thomas and his friends.
