Bruno Heller's hit CBS police procedural show 'The Mentalist' is highly anticipated especially that they have already announced its renewal for Season 7. However, many are in question of what will arise on the story arcs between their favorite characters.

Patrick Jane (played by Simon Baker) already confessed his feelings for his love interest Teresa Lisbon (Robin Tunney); but after the romantic conversation before Lisbon boarded the plane, did she really leave heading to Washington, or will she stay for the betterment of their love story?

On the Ask Ausiello segment of TV Line, reveals a new woman joining the team. However, some people are asking if this woman could lead to a conflict between the Jisbon tandem, which will be very drastic for their fans. "A new woman is about to enter Patrick Jane's (professional) life. The CBS drama is casting the series regular role of Michelle Vega, a rookie FBI agent who is a student of combat and weaponry and is unfazed by high-pressure situations (such as when the show awaited that 11th-hour renewal)," the site divulges.

If this happens, nonetheless, their relationship would be immensely tested; but what if Vega will be a great match for Kimball Cho (Tim Kang), who previously admitted that he, misses Samaire Armstrong (who plays Summer Edgecombe). Cho kissed Armstrong in the "At First Blush" episode, where he also confessed his affection.

On his Twitter, meanwhile, he confirms that the upcoming season would be the last of the CBS series. "This is our 7th and final season. Looking at the scripts now, it's so fun and such a great season," he reveals.
