"The Mentalist" creator Bruno Heller, assures viewers will see a satisfying conclusion to the series ast it enters its seventh season, KpopStarz reports. Fans of the highly acclaimed CBS series are excited to hear wedding bells for characters, Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon.

Heller, together with Simon Baker and Robin Tunney, recently shared spoilers to The Hollywood Reporter.

"The pleasures of the show rests in the byplay between Robin [Tunney] and Simon [Baker]. Getting rid of Red John allowed us to focus on that human aspect of the show. Red John, as it turns out, was a convenience for Jane because it meant he didn't have to confront the rest of his life and what he's doing," he said.

Baker added: "After [Red John] goes, for both Lisbon and Jane, there is a palpable sense of 'What now? Do I really want to continue doing the same thing?' It left the two of them without an excuse to decide where that relationship was going. They had always been able to keep it separate. Those questions start bubbling up and the rest of the season was the resolution of those questions."

He also revealed that it will be hard for Patrick to pen himself up to another person as he already forget what that is like.

Heller also assured that fans will be satisfied with the ending of the series. "This is a popular show. It's meant for the people. We have tried to make a finale to the season that will please and engage and fill our core audience." He said the show will give audience closure but also teased that it will leave the viewers wanting for more.

In other reports, Monica Baccarin will be coming back as Erika Flynn who was last seen escaping from jail. The report also claimed Erika deceived Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon when she offered information with the condition of granting her pardon.

CBS has not announced a release date yet, but filming is already underway. "The Mentalist" Season 7 is reportedly returning to CBS in 2015.
