Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg joined other celebrity couples who chose the end of summer as the perfect time to exchange wedding vows. The intimate ceremony was held near McCarthy's hometown, specifically at Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois.

On Sunday evening, McCarthy and Walhberg officially became man and wife as the two proceeded with an intimate event with their closest friends and family members, Mail Online reports. The ceremony was held at Hotel Baker's grand ballroom and only lasted 20 minutes.

McCarthy showcased her bridal glow in a strapless white gown, which Mail Online reports to have been from Bergdorf Goodman. McCarthy allegedly got the gown from the bridal store back in July. According to the article, "the sexy frock was the perfect choice for the glamazon, the fitted bodice accentuating her ample cleavage and tiny waist, the full ruffled skirt with long train adding some drama."

Meanwhile, the 45-year-old groom "look dapper in his classic black tuxedo and crisp white shirt, a matching rose adorning his lapel," details Mail Online. The 41-year-old actor's bouquet composed of deep red roses, which also adorned the reception. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were also clad in classic black.

The couple met in March 2013 with Walhberg as a guest in "The Jenny McCarthy Show," shares Hollywood Life. The two had been together since July of that year before announcing their engagement in April, relays CBS News. McCarthy was previously married to John Mallory Asher and has a 12-year-old son, while Walhberg has two sons from his former wife Kim Fey.

Several personalities attended the reception, including Jordan Knight, Danny Wood, and Jonathan Knight of "New Kids On The Block." Sherri Sheperd, McCarthy's co-host in "The View" was also present. Brother Mark Walhberg was absent from the reception, but did not skip on the greetings, as he congratulated the newlyweds on Twitter.

According to Daily Herald, the hotel, which was flocked by fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the event, is only minutes away from McCarthy's Geneva home. McCarthy's hometown has also been the venue of her fundraiser for Bridges Montessori Academy last August. Daily Herald also says that camera crews from the "Walhburgers" show captured the crowd outside the hotel. "Walhburgers" is a reality TV show featuring Donnie and is run by his brother, Paul Walhberg.
