The fourth season of CW's Hart of Dixie is currently filming, and is set to premiere next year. Here's the latest scoop on the show's development.

Rachel Bilson, who plays Zoe Hart, is currently pregnant with her first child with boyfriend Hayden Christensen, and it has been recently confirmed that the show will have feature a pregnancy (a female obstetrician has reportedly been cast for the season's sixth episode) in its storyline for the upcoming 10-episode season.

The news was revealed by CW president Mark Pedowitz. E! News reported him as saying: "[Creator] Leila Gerstein is planning to have a pregnancy eventually happen to the character of Zoe Hart."

Meanwhile, other stars of the show have taken to social media to give the fans hints on what's in store for season three.

Scott Porter, who plays the charming George Tucker, posted on his Instagram a photo of himself, Mircea Monroe (Tansy Truitt), and her three brothers, Bill, Kevin, and Matt--a sign that fans may see a Tansy and George reunion in the upcoming season.

Maree Cheatham (Grandma Bettie Breeland) said on Twitter that she will be back. She tweeted, "Thrilled to be in the first two episodes of #HartofDixie new season! Grandma Bettie tells the Breelands a thing or 2!"

It has not yet been confirmed if this will be the show's final season, but Pedowitz was quoted by Zap2It as saying that they are "looking forward to see what happens."

"We have not quite planned where we're putting it yet because we're waiting for our fall schedule to come out and then we'll make the determination what midseason shows will premiere when," he added.

CW has not yet released a date for the premiere, but the show is expected to return early next year.
