Rumors are swirling that there might be a whole new cast for the next season of Bravo's "Real Housewives of New York." According to an Enstarz report, Sonja Morgan may be staying next season. Bravo executives are also reportedly looking to get rid of the entire cast except for Morgan. This was because want to bring on new co-stars who fit in with her storyline on the hit reality show.

The decision to revamp the series had followed since the show has been dropping in ratings. Through the new format, it has been claimed that that a new cast would be able to shake things up, which in turn, will bring much-needed eyeballs into the small screen. This season has plagued by critics for its "boring" storylines apart from its ratings.

A source told Radar Online, "Sonja is a favorite of the network right now. Executives have been talking about developing a new cast around her. And she's actively looking and bringing friends in right now."

Sonja is said to be not joining her friend, Ramona Singer, who has been rumored to have not been asked to return next season. Carol Radziwill, Kristen Taekman, Heather Thomson, Aviva Drescher and LuAnn de Lesseps are also said to be not returning next season.

The insider added, "Ramona is the one most likely on the chopping block. There's not much more they can do to her. Her storyline is creating a show that reminds the fans of what it is not."

Interestingly, "The Real Housewives of New York," has been picked up for Season 7 despite its decrease in veiwership. Mstars News believes that because of the revamp, the show would have lots of over-the-top and wealthy women. The soure added that the new cas, which has yet to be made known, t is "very charistmatic with multiple estates."
