The exact state of Michael Schumacher's health condition is currently uncertain as his family continually choose to keep updates about the beloved Formula One champion private. According to reports however, he is undergoing an extensive rehabilitation program but his recovery is coming at quite a slow pace with medical experts saying that he may never have a complete recovery.

It has been close to two years now since Schumacher shocked the world with his horrific skiing accident at the French Alpine Resort. The seven time Formula One champion suffered serious head injuries during the incident. He was later placed in a medically induced coma to stabilize his condition and only woke up in June of last year.

The Independent reports that Schumacher is rumored to have15 medical experts with him every minute of the day in a medical suite at his mansion in Switzerland. One report pegged his weekly medical cost at an astonishing €143,000. His medical expenses reportedly has cost the family €14million already.

Schumacher's wife, Corinna has already sold his €34million jet in May and is said to be considering putting their French chalet up for sale reports Christian Today.

Meanwhile, FIA President and close friend Jean Todt says that he still visits Schumacher regularly and although there have been very few signs of improvement, he wants everyone to know that Schumacher is still fighting.

Todt related how Lewis Hamilton's recent third championship reminded him of Schumacher during his best. He said, "You saw the figures [for Schumacher]. I was very proud of what Michael achieved. Sometimes you tend to forget what he did."

According to Yibada, Schumacher's manager, Sabine Kehm, also remains very positive of the race driver's health. Kehmsaid in an inteview, "We are happy to say he still does improvement and I say this always considering the severeness of the injury he had. But of course it will take a very long time for everybody involved to fight, and we are happy to take this fight."

Michael Schumacher is one of the most successful F1 drivers in the history of motorsports racing. At his peak, he won five straight world titles for Ferrari. He retired from the sport in 2012.
