Actress and comedienne Whoopi Goldberg launches her new business venture with partner Maya Elisabeth, called ‘Whoopi & Maya’. The business is a product line of marijuana-infused products along with other medicinal plants that help alleviate symptoms of PMS. Product prices are not yet disclosed.


Spotify Raises $1 Billion Through Financing Deal

Music streaming company Spotify raises $ 1 billion deal through financing in the form of convertible debt. TPG rounded the funds together with Dragoneer along with other institutional investors. The deal placed by Goldman Sachs is expected to close on April 2.

Iterum Therapeutics Ltd. secured $40 million in Series A funding led by Frazier Healthcare Partners together with other venture capitalists.
