Apple is still tight-lipped as to when will be the official release date of its latest MacBooks. However, rumor has it that both the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016 are to be released just in time for the holiday season.

According to previous reports, the release date of the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2016 is delayed and will arrive in early 2016 instead. One reason for the delay might be due to the availability of the new iPad Pro next month and to allow it to gain ground. Another possibility for the delay has something to do with the accessibility of new Intel Skylake processor, which is planned for use on both MacBooks.

In contrast to the earlier news, fresh reports have surfaced online saying that the Cupertino-based tech giant's latest laptop innovations will be out in the coming festive season. Even though this report has not been confirmed by Apple yet, all MacBook spectators are absolutely excited about this release date update.

Meanwhile, the next-generation laptops are expected to integrate Force Touch technology with Skylake-U processors to enhance its performance. They will both run on the latest OS X El Capitan software and possibly include improved battery.

The MacBook Air 2016 is alleged to come in two options, a 13-inch and a 15-inch screen. It will be thinner than its predecessor and features Type-C USB port. On the other hand, MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to come with identical specifications and hardware as the Air 2016. However, it will sport a more powerful RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 graphics card pre-installed.

With regards to the pricing of these innovative laptops, it is rumored that this MacBook Air will be one of the cheapest devices Apple will be releasing in the market. Its alleged price starts at $899.

Unfortunately, the release date for the MacBook Air and Pro 2016 are still uncertain. The rumors that these laptops will be unveiled this holiday season has to be confirmed by the tech giant first. Thus, everyone must wait and keep up-to-date about Apple's official announcement on this matter.
