The giant in the video games industry, Nintendo, has yet to release its mystery console to the market named Nintendo NX sometime soon. However, gamers are still second-guessing when exactly the console release schedule is and what games are being developed. Speculations have even started circulating, claiming that the gaming device might be a "social AR/VR gear".

Recently, a number of video game developers expressed interest in producing game titles for the up and coming gaming console.  According to Shiena Bernardino of Christian Today, some of them were Spike Chunsoft and Square Enix, the latter being known for their highly successful "Dragon Quest" series.

Spike Chunsoft, on the other other hand, is popularly known for its "J-Stars Victory" and "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon" games. In a statement made by Spike Chunsoft president and CEO Mitsutoshi Sakurai, he said, "We're not at the level where we can announce anything, but we've started work on the development of a completely new title."  Mitsutoshi also added that they already have the latest "Zero Escape" series slated for Nintendo NX under game developer Kotaro Uchikoshi.  This is definitely something worth looking forward to soon.

In other related news, AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) will be providing the latest GPU (graphics processing unit) to make Nintendo NX more robust and more competitive.  Although not openly competing against Microsoft and Sony in any way, Nintendo NX and AMD intend to enter the video games arena with a few surprises.

According to Crossmap contributor Sonia Smith, Nintendo NX is more likely to integrate a new membership service that "encompasses smart devices and dedicated videogame systems".  This revelation might bide well most especially with online gamers.  Also interesting to note is that this service might likewise act as a "platform bridge" for gamers that play across multiple devices and systems.

No further information about hardware specifics were provided, however; but expectations are very high towards the new gaming system.

There is also a hint that Nintendo NX might eventually become a "social AR/VR gear" as stated by Digi- Capital.  In a short statement issued, they said, "The larger market for games will be VR, as shown by Facebook/Oculus, Sony, and HTC marketing their VR products initially as game machines."  This assumption, however, is yet to be proven true once Nintendo NX breaks water and finally sees release.

Many speculations still surround Nintendo NX.  Some might even think Nintendo NX may end up being Nintendo's saving grace. If this unit releases soon enough, then this will be the most enthralling gaming console to look forward to and the most noteworthy to date since PlayStation 4 and Xbox ONE releases, respectively.
