Michael Schumacher's long-time manager and media spokesperson Sabine Kehm continues to guard her client and his family's privacy. She demands that all official news must come from her despite all the speculations revolving around Schumacher's health condition.

According to an article by BBC, the seven-time Formula One champion suffered major injuries after a skiing trip gone wrong on the 29th of December in 2013. He was reportedly descending down the Combe de Saulire below the Dent de Burgin above Meribel in the French Alps when he slipped and hit his head on a rock despite donning a protective helmet. The accident was reconstructed by experts who examined his personal equipment and footage captured from a video camera attached to the helmet.

Schumacher was placed in a medically-induced coma to keep his condition stable. He was then gradually withdrawn from the coma and showed signs of progress as well as moments of consciousness. Unfortunately, the press had been intent on covering the athlete's condition going through unreasonable lengths of trying to unauthorized gain access into his tightly guarded medical facility.

Another article by Grand Prix 247 alleged that several media outlets attempted to capture footage of Schumacher's return to his Lake Geneva villa after recuperating for a while at the University Hospital in Switzerland. Photographers swarmed around the property, even using drones to invade Schumacher and his family's privacy. Schumacher's long-time manager and spokesperson Sabine Kehm commented, "It is mainly the French paparazzi who are not respecting Michael's privacy."

Kehm intended to keep details of his rehabilitation sparse and that all official news updates of her client's status come exclusively from her, according to Express. One of the latest announcements Kehm made revealed that Schumacher is "making progress" and that the public "must always keep the seriousness of his injuries in mind." She also added that her fierce secrecy is owed to her client's policy of keeping his job and private life strictly separate from each other.

It was further reported that Schumacher's family is spending an estimated £100,000-a-week to help with his recovery. Kehm also revealed that they are constantly on guard since several desperate paparazzi have created a permanent camp outside the family's property.

No photographs have ever been released of the retired German driver since his accident and details of his condition have been kept extremely private. Several communities online have emerged showing support for Schumacher and his family.
