During a Q and A, Steven J. Davis has officially announced that the "Transformers" movie franchise will be kept in works for the next years to come. Megan Fox expressed her desire to be a part of the "Transformers 5".

Hasbro president, Stephen J. Davis, confirmed in his keynote speech at MIPCOM spinoff MIPJunior. He revealed that the writers have planned the next 10 years of Transformers. Deadline noted that Transformers 5 is being worked up on as well as the sixth, seventh and eighth.

"You're going to see a new Transformers movie coming from Hasbro and Paramount and Michael Bay and our other partners," he said. "In fact, we just finished, as some of you may have read, just an incredible experience. We decided that we wanted to plot out the next 10 years of the Transformers franchise, so we got together in a room over a three-month period of time."

According to the Entertainment Weekly, nine of the most creative writers have joined forces to write the draft. The Academy Award winner, Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind), has led the team which includes Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari (Ant-Man), Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead), Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man), Jeff Pinkner (Lost/Fringe/Amazing Spider-Man 2), Zak Penn (X-Men: The Last Stand/The Incredible Hulk), Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down), Geneva Robertson - Dworet and Christina Hodson (Black List), Steven DeKnight (Daredevil), and Lindsey Beer.

In an article on the Movie Pilot, Megan Fox was rumoured to return for "Transformers 5" as she was interested. However, people are informed that Michael Bay has fired her but she said it was her own decision not to join.

The report said it was actually difficult for her to be filming the "Transformers" movie series. Reportedly, Fox and Bay do not get along. However, the two soon fix things up.

Fox expressed her desire to return for a role in the fifth sequel of the movie. She insisted that if ever Bay wants her to do a cameo in the "Transformers 5", she will oblige.
