Samsung has been on the forefront of the Android updates and it is reported that Samsung is now preparing the software for release to its flagship devices, including the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Edge, and Galaxy S6. Although the devices have just been updated with the final Lollipop update since last August and September, Android 6.0 Marshmallow is expected to come three months after it will debut.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Alpha are also reported to get the Marshmallow update next year as more complaints have been lodged in community forums of mobile carriers and tech sites regarding long overdue updates for Android.
