Apple has launched on its September event the new iPad Mini  4. The new device has improved at almost every turn compared its previous model iPad Mini 3. The new iPad Mini is sporting both fresh and updated features.

According to The verge, the new iPad Mini 4 is boasting both new and updated features. Hence,  it indicates that Apple has really  recovered from the "mere afterthought" of its last year's iPad Mini 3  upgrade.

As for specifications, Christian Today reports that one of the iPad Mini 4 latest features would be its upgraded specs sheet. Instead of using the old A7 chipset of its predecessors, or the iPad Air 2's modified A8X, Apple opted to employ the newer A8 processor from the iPhone 6, and also upgraded the Mini 4's RAM to 2 GB.

Moreover, the new iPad Mini's design and aesthetics are  better than its forerunners. The latest tablet is 22 percent thinner  and  10 percent lighter  than the iPad Mini 2 and 3, with a revamped design to make the tablet more like a tiny version of the new iPads than a completely different, plastic-like lineup.

On the other hand, the air gap between the new iPad Mini's cover glass and the Retina LCD  has been simply removed by Apple in order to give  the new Mini vibrant a bright resolution and display the same with the iPad Air 2.

Furthermore, the new iPad Mini was reported to include all the bells and whistles of an updated Apple product. The new tablet's main camera  has been enhanced as well for carrying  an 8-MP iSight lens that is capable of capturing 1080p videos and HDR photos.

Last but not the least, the coolest feature in the iPad Mini 4 was stated to be its iOS 9 that has the split-screen apps. Since the iPad Mini 4 is one of the few iPads that will have the advantage of that new feature, the presence of the iOS 9 in the new tablet is considered as its best part, CNET wrote.

The mini 4 16GB model is priced at £319 for, while it's for 64GB is at£399. There's a 128GB model too, that can be purchased at £479. It is said that  a user  can add 3G / 4G connectivity for an additional £100 on top of those prices. A user will also be given an extra option of Gold together with Silver and Space Grey.
