Samsung Electronics is believed to unveil another flagship on 2016. This will be their newest Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that is rumored to be engineered with 4 GB of RAM, a new protective material and more enhanced specifications.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is rumored to be released into the market February or March next year, as Neurogadget cited on one of their articles.

The Galaxy S7 Edge design is imagined to be a bit different, but is still reportedly inspired by the current S6 Edge. Nevertheless, the upcoming handset will have a rectangular body with sharp corners with volume rocker buttons on the left hand side and power button on the right. The SIM tray will be located at the top of the device, while the Type-C USB 3.0 port and the 3.5mm headphone jack can be found at the bottom.

Latinos Post further stated other features that the Galaxy S7 Edge might sport, one of which is a QHD Super AMOLED display. This handset is slated to run with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset in octa-core 64 bit architecture working hand-in-hand with 4GB of RAM.

It may protrude a 21-megapixel rear-facing camera with optical image stabilization and dual-LED, dual tone flash, and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video chat.

Yibada said on its report that the S7 Edge is rumored to utilize a stronger material for its frame. Magnesium alloy will be the dominant casing material for the upcoming flagship of Samsung.

It is also believed the Corning Gorilla Glass is on its way out from the Samsung Galaxy supply chain as the Korean tech giant plans to develop a glass coating that is tougher than the current standard. This venture was referred to as the Project Turtle, which should be ready in time for the Galaxy S7 Edge's early 2016 rollout.

These will be the rumored features of the future flagship of Samsung. Although none of these were confirmed by the Korean tech giant, the Galaxy S series avid fans still have to wait until the company gives exact details about the Galaxy S7 Edge.
