A new motion poster was released for Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension which will be the final installment in the franchise that started in 2007. The sequel will first be revealed at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival a day before it hits theaters worldwide.

The new motion poster for the upcoming film features little Leila sleeping on her bed as sisters Katie and Kristi stand on either side of her bed watching her. It later shifts to a shot of Leila standing on her bed looking at an opening above her bed's headboard.

As reported by Comingsoon.net, the film will be the final installment in the franchise and according to producer Jason Blum, it will also finally settle the mystery of Toby's identity.

"All the questions that everyone has asked from the past 'Paranormal Activity' films: What does Toby look like? What's the backstory to the families? These questions have been teased out. Now they will be answered", Blum previously revealed.

The movie will serve as Gregory Plotkin's directorial debut, although he is not new to the franchise as Movieweb reported that Plotkin was the editor on Paranormal 2, Paranormal 3, Paranormal 4, and Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones as well as being the co-producer of the last three films.

However, before it hits theaters, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the horror feature will be presented in the Screamfest Horror Film Festival at the TCL Chinese Theater on October 22, 2015. The film will be the festival's closing night picture and will be shown in RealD 3D. The event will also serve as the franchise's homecoming, given that the first film was also first released in the same festival in 2007.

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension will tell the story of the Fleeges, composed of the father, Ryan, mother Emily, and their little girl Leila as they are haunted after discovering a video camera and a box of tapes in their garage. Sisters Katie and Kristi from the previous films will also appear in the upcoming film. It stars Chris J. Murray, Brit Shaw, Ivy George, Dan Gill, and Michael Krawic among many others. It is set to hit theaters in October 23, 2015.
