Emma Watson takes on the next steps; Intense kissing scene with Daniel Bruhl in 'Colonia'

Emma Watson ventures on a new role as part in a war-torn drama film, Colonia. Known for fresh-child and light roles, Emma Watson is now starting to take on mature roles. In the said film, Emma Watson will play the role of Lena, the German wife of a kidnapped husband, which will be portray by Daniel Bruhl.

In lieu with Emma Watson's mature career stint, she and on-screen partner Daniel Bruhl shared an intense kissing scene in the movie, The Hit News shared. The said movie is one of those masterpieces by the Oscar award-winning director, Florian Gallenberger, and one of the films to be looked out for in the Toronto International Film Festival.

Colonia will also showcase Emma Watson's role as sultry wife to Daniel Bruhl. The filming has said to have started last October 2014 in Munich, Berlin, and Buenos Aires, to name a few.  

The Daily Mail UK cited that the Harry Potter star got really serious during the filming of the movie. And thus, portray a much different role from what the audience and her fans are used to seeing onto her. Emma Watson is also currently working on her new movie The Circle and the Beauty and the Beast. The said movies are also said to be released next year along with Chile that is tentatively due for showing on January 2016.

Emma Watson's role in the film Colonia showcases her deep love for her husband as she fight for love. Taking back in the year 1973 in the movie, Emma Watson portrayal is definitely far out gone from her previous movie roles which were lighter, Entertainment Weekly featured.  

Emma Watson is really taking on her career to the next level - and thus, she started with more mature roles this time.
